Husky Vodka
HUSKY Vodka is produced in Siberia from choice grain and pure water from underground springs in one of the most remote regions of Russia. It is then distilled five times in order to achieve its smooth and distinctive taste. Since Siberia is the original home of the famed husky breed, it was natural for this iconic dog to become the brand name and image for this unique spirit. HUSKY Vodka is sold in 56 countries throughout the world.

Black Coyote Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon, 2009
In Napa Valley, the 2009 vintage produced wines of immense ripeness, density, and tremendous structure. Above the fog-line, the fruit ripens completely, developing ripe, rich flavors and the firm, deep structure of Atlas Peak. Our 2009 Cabernet is made with 100% Cabernet grapes from 3 of the most prestigious Napa Valley Appellation: Atlas Peak, Stag’s Leap, and Rutherford. We showcase their uniqueness of climate and soils by hand selecting the best clones and rootstocks in the area for our Reserve. The now present tannins indicate this wine will only get better with age. Decanting is recommended. A portion of Black Coyote sales in CT will be donated to the Amistad Foundation at the Wadsworth Atheneum in Hartford.

Foxen Santa Maria Valley Pinot Noir, 2015
Foxen has been making Santa Maria Valley appellation Pinot Noir since 1987. It has always been a blend of multiple clones from various vineyards within the Santa Maria appellation, primarily Bien Nacido, Julia’s and Riverbench. The individual lots were 100% whole berry de-stemmed and fermented for 10-14 days, with manual punchdowns 2X daily. The wine was aged in 2, 3 and 4 year old barrels for 9 months, then bottled without fining or filtration. Our 2010 is what Santa Maria Pinot is all about: bright strawberry and raspberry fruit framed by sassafras and hard spice (cinnamon, clove, cardamom) and nice natural acidity. This pairs wonderfully with grilled or roasted salmon, chicken, quail or duck. Drink now through 2016. Wine Spectator – 90 Points

Kathryn Kennedy Lateral, 2012
While most Napa Valley Bordeaux blends of this quality cost at least twice as much–if not more–than Kathryn Kennedy’s “Lateral,” few are as consistently good. Made from organically grown Merlot, Cab Franc, Cab Sauvignon, Malbec and Petit Verdot.
Kathryn Kennedy Estate Cabernet Sauvignon, 2012
This vinatge is feminine, controlled, softly textured and lovely to drink right now…a small scaled Cabernet in the long ago forgotten claret model. Only 500 cases were made. 2007 was a watershed year as well because it’s the year Kathryn and Marty achieved Certified Organic status at their vineyard as well as the production winery. This bottling is their first Cabernet to be labeled as “made with organically grown grapes”. This accomplishment was the last major milestone of Kathryn’s. The Kathryn Kennedy estate vineyard is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. The vines cover gentle slopes in Saratoga, California on the inland side of the Santa Cruz Mountains. Each vintage is harvest by hand and vinified in small lots followed by gentle barrel aging with 90% French oak. The result is a world class wine in the traditional claret model possessing a decade or more of aging potential.
Kathryn Kennedy Small Lots Cabernet Sauvignon, 2012
This label is designed to make the most of grapes from superior small vineyards. These growers include residential homeowners whose grapes arrive at the crush pad in very small lots. The natural affinity of the local climate combined with micro-managed vineyard care leads to the highest quality Cabernet. This 2010 is surprisingly approachable and very pleasing on the palate, with expressive fruitiness and juicy texture; a sure fan favorite. This wine was fermented in open top tanks with hand punch downs. It was then aged in a combination of American and French oak barrels for 21 months. Only 800 cases were produced.
In 1981 the Santa Cruz Mountains AVA became federally recognized as one of the first American viticultural areas to be defined by topographic lines. Warmer growing conditions on the inland side of the coast range have proven to yield superb Cabernet. This wine was vinified using the same small scale techniques Kathryn Kennedy employs for their other great wines. In the hands of their seasoned Cabernet specialist, the results are extraordinary.

Parallel Russian River Valley Chardonnay, 2010
With a pedigree that Philippe Melka boasts, the world has taken notice with the release of his first white varietal, in 2007. The 91-point wine Parallel Chardonnay sold out 444 cases upon release. The second, 2008 vintage, promises to be better. Aged for 16 months in classic French Oak from one of Napa’s oldest vineyards results in a full-bodied, creamy yet light on its feet, well balanced and seductive, exhibiting a touch of acidity, spice, coconut and minerality. “Winemaker Philippe Melka has crafted a near-perfect Chardonnay. A ravishingly beautiful scent meets the taster’s nose. It combines the aromas of sweet vanillin oak with ripe stone fruit. There is just a hint of tropical aromas and flavors. In the mouth, the wine is at its most impressive state. There is a wonderful textural quality that hints of oak without ever seeming woody! Aging in large puncheons rather than smaller Barriques might go a long way in explaining this magic. There is no hardness or bitterness in the finish, and the wine is utterly devoid of any alcoholic heat. If there were just a tad more trailing acidity, it could pass for a 1er Cru Puligny-Montrachet.” Paul Provost. Sold in nine states. The partners continue to support charities including the US Ski and Snowboard Foundation, through wine donations and auction packages and have raised more than $400,000 since launching Parallel. WINAM will continue to support the Foundation in CT.

Silver Stag Cabernet Sauvignon, 2013
Silver Stag Winery sits on a prime piece of Tulocay acreage in the heart of Napa Valley. Its microclimate, comparable to “cool Bordeaux”, is warmer than Carneros, but it still feels the marine intrusions flowing up the path of the Napa River. The effect is to extend the time on the vine, yielding smaller berries with less tannin and far more concentration than the Napa average. Very dense and deep garnet. An inviting and expressive nose opens up on notes of black currants (cassis), blackberry, licorice, caramel and citrus rind. The body is very balanced and elegant yet powerful. The wine has a very long finish with impressive flavors of blackberry liqueur and coffee. Wine Spectator 91 points. 500 cases produced.

Sparrow Hawk Chardonnay, 2014
From the Parsley Family, producers of acclaimed Silver Stag wines comes their newest venture, Sparrow Hawk. Shows classic Russian River aromatics and flavors of citrus, tropical fruit, vanilla, green apple and pear. Aging in French oak lends subtle vanilla medium toasted oak and enhances the fruit’s complexity through native and malolactic fermentation. Lower acidity show off the intensity of the fruit. Dutton Ranch fruit comes from two of the coolest growing Valley areas. This allows for slower maturation and full flavor development.

9Mile Road Australian Shiraz, 2010
The name of this wine is taken from 9 Mile Road, an old drover’s path that now runs through the Langhorne Creek appellation in South Australia. A wine of deep color and extract, these vines are up to 55 years old, and some are head-pruned. The wine has lifted aromatics of ripe black fruits, with hints of licorice, chocolate and exotic spices. The palate is luscious fruit (mulberries, bing cherries, blackberries), while the oak is held in check. A dollop of Cabernet (5%) firms the structure and extends the long rich finish.

9Mile Road Australian Cabernet Sauvignon, 2010
These grapes come from a single vineyard in Wrattonbully, located on the southern edge of the Limestone Coast just west of Coonawarra. It’s noted for shallow red soils over limestone, undulating aspect, and coolish climates (for Australia). The resultant wines are elegant, with true varietal definition. This wine displays juicy, ripe, soft tannins with notes of menthol and eucalyptus. Flavors are of mulberries and other dark fruits, plus all the “extra vinous” sought after complexities, such as tobacco leaf.
